Preview activity.( Judge a book by its cover)

it is very easy to judge a book by its cover. That’s why authors put a lot of thought into the cover of a book. It is the first thing the reader sees, and it is the first chance the reader has to have an opinion on the book. Books that have interesting covers can easily get attention. I book that I had just finished reading had an interesting cover on it. It also had an interesting title. The book was a required reading for college orientation; otherwise I might not have read it. It is titled the naked roommate. And it had bare legs on the cover. I would not have read the book if it was not required, but when reading it; I was glad that I did, because it provided many useful college tips that I may have missed out on otherwise.

  1. I agree that what the author puts on the cover is important because it is the first thing we see and if it isn't good, people might miss out on an amazing novel because it didn't look interesting.
It is nice when we "have to" read books that we wouldn't have otherwise because there are a lot of interesting stories that we would otherwise miss out on.
